"Hybrid" is probably the hallmark concept of our times, but certainly is the word that defines Gunter Push’s work better than any other. Hybrid is the dimension he created throughout the years, where the natural and mechanical worlds merge, just as hybrid are the creatures who inhabit his works and the technique he developed to shape his imagination.

What seemed to be the most unlikely of hallucinations just a few decades ago, it happens to be today more and more a plausible hypothesis for the future of the human race; art forerunner of the times or the artist’s romantic wish for reconnection with the natural world?
